I can't connect my Stripe account

I'm getting an error when I try to connect

Follow the steps:

  1. Refresh and retry: sometimes it's just a temporary glitch

  2. Check your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all work well

  3. Turn off browser extensions: ad blockers and privacy tools can sometimes interfere with Stripe's verification

  4. Try a different device: if you're on mobile, switch to desktop (or vice versa)

My bank account was rejected

Stripe checks your bank details during setup. Common reasons it might not work:

  • Typo in your account number or sort code

  • You entered business account details for a personal account (or the other way round)

  • Currency mismatch — your bank account currency needs to match your Stripe payout currency
